We engaged E Egan Architects and Surveyors Limited to undertake a review of energy performance standards across a commercial property portfolio with a specific aim to identify if and how improvements need to be made to meet new higher energy performance standards which will become compulsory over the next five years. Eddie led the process engaging directly with other professionals, contractors and the occupying tenant to identify and deliver the most efficient and effective intervention. For an office building in Middlesborough the recommended solution involved installing solar panels on a south-facing pitched roof, which also greatly reduced the building running costs for the tenant. Aside from providing technical expertise and strategic guidance he was meticulous in his dealings with all parties to ensure the works were executed smoothly.
