Office Building

This project consisted of an office space occupied by an IT company with a high energy demand. It involved the design, tender and procurement of 7kw of photovoltaic solar panels on a large south-facing roof space which has improved the non-domestic Energy Performance Certificate and also lowered the running costs for the property. This is creating in the region of 7,000 Kwhs per annum. The commercial rate of purchasing electricity from EDF is 0.45p per kwh, so a property such as this is saving £3,150 on electricity per annum.
